Carolyn Harrington has graciously shared some of her photos with us. Below are a few of the highlights of the weekend. Thanks Carolyn, and sorry it took me so long!
Here's the entire group at the Meeting Center. Carolyn used a delayed timer so that she could get into the picture too. That's me with my eyes closed.
Above are a couple of thumbnail images. On Saturday part of the group headed into Grand Bend to visit the gardens and to track down the elusive white squirrels. These are Easter Grey Squirrels which are totally white. Not albinos, just white squirrels. Above are a few photos from that trip, including the object of the hunt on the right!

We went for several hikes that weekend. These photos are from the hike we took Saturday morning along the old channel of the Au Sable River.

On Sunday we all went for a hike on one of the trails in the park. Much to our shock the Winter Wrens were everywhere - so many, in fact, that it eventually became a joke. Not a lot of other birds out, just the Winter Wrens. The photos above are from that hike. It was a good afternoon.

While we were at the Visitor Center Sunday a Hermit Thrush stunned itself against the glass near the feeders. Here it is on the hand of one of the staff members. It was released soon afterward and we believe it was okay.
